Playerclipping a spiral staircase

    I have a 180-degree spiral staircase in spawn (so no combat will take place there), and it needs to be clipped. How exactly do I do this? I tried making an identical staircase using the player clip brush and then vertex manipulating the steps to make it a ramp, but that produced invalid solids.

    I suppose that since it's just in spawn, clipping doesn't matter as much, but I at least want it for consistency's sake.

    make sure you use a separate clip brush for every time the staircase turns

    if it's not that, then i have no idea. However, you could try using the clip tool instead of vertex editing, because i think it's impossible to create an invalid solid with the clip tool

    Awesome, thanks! I should probably just go through that Interlopers site some time. Between this, the error checker, and some other things, it's apparently a great resource.
