    Hey all,

Just a couple things im sure can be easily answered..

Need a pipe thats big enough to swim through, What should me interior size be to allow it? (there will be turns in the pipe but sideways and up/down. )

just not sure what a good interior unit width/height should be...

2nd, I want the pipe filled with water .. I presume this is simple as making an interior solid brush through the pipe and making it func_water or whatever it is..

and 3rd, im thinking of adding current ...

my current idea is to use a Push entity to push the players along .. but perhapse there is something else specific to water for current ?

any tips would be great ;)

So far everyone has been sooo helpful, thankyou a great deal.

    Efciem,
Good-looking water must be surrounded by world brushes. Is your pipe vertical or horizontal? Horizontal is easy to do: First, make a square tunnel. 128x128 should do. Then add water to the bottom of it, touching all the sides. Finally add your pipe, either with displacements or some brushwork. There are a few tutorials for good displacement pipes around.

A trigger_push emulates current pretty well. Try a force value of 400.

the pipe will be going in horizontal and vertical , and have turns in it...

The entrance and exit from the pipe will be a water tank where the player will swim down into the pipe.. so no water Surface will be present inside the pipes except for one location where there will be a manhole in the top of the pipe.. so it will be viewable like any other water in the game..

So the water is completely enclosed within the pipe.. not trying to have water sideways, or pouring out or anything like that..
