is it bad to have 61 path tracks before the first cap point, or does it not matter?

but you also probably don't need to put one every 4 units in hammer either...you want the cart to follow the track fairly accurately but you dont need to go overboard cause pretty much no one is going to inspect how closely the cart wheels follow the tracks, as long as the cart follows the track bends, i've seen maps go pretty loosey goosey on their path tracks, but no one notices cause it's unimportant

    Goldrush comes to mind.

But indeed, its just some detail. Its also no issue to have the track coming 1 unit above the floor because the displacement has a tiny pit. As long as you dont see it from below its fine. Still, most of it should be perfectly on the floor because when you dont keep enough detail people will notice it (and at that point its bad).

Btw, keep in mind that more path tracks between 2 points doesnt make the track longer in the hud. The hud checks the total distance the path tracks give instead of the ammount of path tracks there are on it. So if the cart has a long horizontal part dont bother about adding path_tracks between the 2 outer parts.
