Maybe you see that yesterday i made this thread: http://tf2maps.net/threads/custom-skybox.28194/

Well, today i was working in the skybox and i have some questions...

    1. What is the best size for the Skybox?

    2. How to make that this looks better? I mean the corners... (and a little the ramp :/)

Thats all for now, thanks for reading...

    Note: See the images...

    1) Depends how much detail you're putting into it. If you look at the existing ones they're either 512 pixels wide or 1024 pixels wide for more detailed ones

    2) One of things linked to you yesterday was a grid template, if you look at that grid you can see there's distortion, if you follow that distortion there wouldn't be any warping in the corners.

    3) Yesterday's skybox thread is still relevant, there's really no need to split discussion over more threads than necessary

    Define doesn't work?

If it's still warped you're probably not doing it right. Take a look at the stock tf2 skies and perhaps try to mimic them.

    Do what ym said

It's not something you can solve without putting effort and lots of tweaking into.

Some artistically-inclined people are just good at doing things freehand. Trial and error helps as well, I imagine.

Manually paint it so the transition occurs along the distorted lines. You also may be able to accomplish this using the cage transform tool.

Here is a Gimp 2.0 tutorial:

Perhaps you should tackle a simpler problem first to learn the fundamentals of painting textures. Skyboxes are particularly challenging.

That looks great so far! It's not really TF2 styled though, but if you blend the colors, add some clouds maybe, and follow the lines you made, it will look even better.
