I am Dany0. I am your lord. Welcome me, muahahaha.

I am a young, talented computer science student, heading towards the game industry. However it's just the way it happened, I have no real big public project behind me, and all my arguments and points just look like from a newbie. This makes me sad. So I've decided, to show off my talent, I'll finally finish one of my mods! Though to my pleasant surprise TF2 is now free. This made me happy. After I checked it out, I've decided that I'll show my genius mind by making a map for TF2. So!

I have experience with Python, Java(bit, just some basic minecraft modding), C++, plus I'm working with Shiva3d, and worked thousands of other engines I am currently ashamed off. :bored: So yeah and I'm looking into becoming a game designer and programmer. Why progammer? Because I like to control things. Why designer? Because I like to control my things, plus it involves the fact that I will have to know everything else too.

So yeah, hi guys, wish me luck. You better do.

*I tend to overuse the "muahahaa" joke/pun so I'll try to do this for once and for last here, hahahahahaha ;)

P.S.: Sometimes I can also be funny!

Being a game designer is its own profession and I see a lot of people still underestimate the job - you can either be designer or programmer. The former is a lot more creative and subjective, the latter more streamlined and technical with clear goals. Yes a game designer should have some understanding of programming, no a game designer is not just "any guy that participates in making a game". Game designers are especially NOT just "idea guys". Yes you can be both game designer and programmer, but it will be hard to get there and there's little point with so many people specifically focusing on programming available with no real creative interests

    and hi
