hi i'm medli and i like to paint sometimes so i tried making a skybox for the first time

(not sure if these images will show up? the preview is giving me broken thumbnails)

Not much to say about this-- I know it's far from perfect but if anyone has advice on how to make a better skybox in the future, it'd be highly appreciated. I've never made a seamless texture before, so even pointers on how to manage that in Photoshop CC would be fantastic \o/

here are some lighting settings that (I think?) would work with this skybox. Again, I'm brand new at this, so if you know more about this than I do (which is likely), then please use your better judgement:

light_environment

Good point, I'll consider that next time! Hopefully it'd be easier to blend that way too, thank you :)

Just a small nag, Could you update the filenames so they are like sky_(skyboxname)_01 , like the rest of the skybox filenames?

Love it btw.

daaaang i really like this

i would suggest it's maybe a bit too "painted"? The third image in particular looks very much like a painting of a cloud - it's absolutely gorgeous, but i think it would stand out compared to the other skyboxes.
I think that is because he used smudge tool alot. How about adding some details that has definitive shapes?
