    Hi everyone, today I want to show you my old/new map.
    It's old, becuase I start working on it one and half year ago, than take looooong break and yesterday finished it (map was almost complete).

    The main thing, I wanted to do with this map is difference between blu and red. So red small buildings, with bricks and wood, but blu have big industry buildings with lot of concrete.

    Map is simple, the only thing wich could little change the gameplay is pipe shooting players to the air, so every class can have soldier's style atack from above ;) .


    If you like it, maybe you could check my previous map, cp_cargoner, it's big 6cp battlefield. And to be honest, I would love to see this CP map played on any server, than koth, because I waste muuuch more time on it ;) .

    I wouldn't really call map that has just been finished and compiled a final version.

    You have a lot of room for improvement. A lot of textures aren't aligned (I'm thinking of the metal BLU barriers), your buildings and texture choices are very weird in some places, everything on the BLU side looks like it's just made of blue concrete, and I have no idea what's going on with that red barn building in the third screenshot. Wood doesn't bend like that. Simply put, most of this doesn't make sense from a structural and visual point of view.

    Also that's the best name for a map I've seen so far :p

    So, the barriers, I turn them by 90 degree without keeping texture on right place, and notice it too late. Map is placed on swamp, so wood is wet. The barn, play the map instead just watching the screenshots. Blue concrete, I wanted to make blu part clean and blue concrete looks clean.

    Yeah, but you can make it look clean without using same textures over and over and over again.

    This is a bad attitude to take. Just FYI, this is not a site for releasing maps so much as developing and testing maps. If you don't want constructive criticism on your maps, you may as well just post them elsewhere, because the mindset here is to critique and iterate, not look at finals and think, "Neat!"

    Which isn't to say you have to change this. Just keep that in mind for next time. It looks like you understand Hammer and how to make things that belong in TF2, more or less, so you can probably make something really great.

    But there is no elsewhere, this is the best site to show the map, from what I know.
    So I post it here, to be make it even notice but any player.

    Yup, I put it on fpsbanana, 30people checked it when this thread have been seen 250times. Also, when you looking for the map, and use help of google, what will be first result.
    It's good and popular place, of course I will use a help of it.
    Also, you have map to talk about, something happen, everyone is happy :3 .

    Well there is not much to talk about as apparently nothing is going to get changed because it is final.
