This HUD is a more compact version of the minimal HUD, with centered elements similar to
competitive HUDs without compromising the aesthetics of the default HUD.

MINIMAL HUD MUST BE ENABLED FOR THIS HUD TO FUNCTION PROPERLY.

*note: screenshots slightly dated, cloak/jarate/buff banner bar is slightly higher to accomodate for ctf hybrid and PLR HUDs

There's no "Battery Bar on the spies watch? Looks good, definitely an improvement on the Minimal HUD, it's much more focused now.

That's been broken on left handed viewmodels since they came out. Nothing to do with the HUD.

Wow, a custom HUD that doesn't look like crap or completely out of style! Good job.

I'm installing this for sure, now the Steam messages won't hide my HUD. :D

Well... I can see Control Points, but ammo and health isn't centered like in the screenshots (recharge meters are).

I really dislike the way the game pushes everything into the corners on widescreen monitors so this is great. Thanks!

EDIT: You should make the recharge bar transparent if possible. It's too distracting at the moment.

If it's of any help to solve my issue (I hope you will :p), I'm running widescreen (1920x1080).

I have tried it out for a short time already, only thing i dislike is, that the ammo and health numbers are really small compared to the normal hud (on 1920 x 1200).

I will try it a bit more, and see how it does.

    Nice job at all :)

I really like it, definitely gonna try it out thanks. I always liked some aspects of the minimal HUD, but some things buged me, as for custom huds haven't tried to many but even them still had some problems. I am very picky with things like this for no reason. If i combined some from all i would have the perfect HUD XD. This looks almost exactly to what i would want.

I'll look into that. Also considering Penguin's suggestion to switch the location of weapon charge meters and item charge meters, so weapon charges are by the crosshair and items are off to the side.

I'm not sure what could be causing it, that's the same resolution I'm running. You have minimal HUD enabled and everything got in the right place, right?

    I'm working on it!

Edit: but if I fix it now, and the engy update comes out next week and breaks it again, I'm going to kill you. Repeatedly.

I fixed it! the eyelander has a bar underneath it though, not the word "heads". trying to find out why....
It may have been like that to start though dunno. Ill post the working version though, if you don't mind the wee bar.
