Hello who ever reads this! I've recently decided to start making maps in tf2 but have come across some issues. My first map is just a little house, that's it not meant for game play or anything. I place down Props and they all appear as errors for some reason except for some pond reeds I've placed. Also I'm having problems with my water, it reflects the classic pink and black checker board. If anyone could help that would be really nice, thanks in advance.

also ill get pics of the map if they're needed.

Also as for my map idea, I was thinking a CTF map where each team spawns with the others Intel, and in the others base as well. So each team has to fight into their own base and drop off the Intel. Does this sound like something worth trying to anyone?

i don't know why the props come up as errors, unless you placed the incorrect entity (make sure it's prop_static)
the water is because you don't have cubemaps

the capture the flag variant you're talking about is called reverse ctf (or maybe invade ctf), and i think it works pretty well.

The gamemode you're talking about is reverse-ctf. Check out the map Aurora by MangyCarface for an example of it.
