i want to make some but i need some ideas
preferably detailed ideas
Well, I know many people are itching for indoor textures, and I've heard some people voice their concern that there aren't enough good metal textures.
Ceiling textures please, concrete
Road textures :3
Some nice metal textures for small metal strips or something.
not really a "texture" more like a skin, but a neutral intel case for 1 flag maps. maybe like gray or something
ceiling textures! like those polystyrene panels you get
more 'floor' textures too
Id love to see more specialty themed textured.
Nature *grass textures are REALLY lacking, Rock as well.*
Space *Hehe, Bias*
Castle *medieval, Q3A tf2 style*
stuff like that.
Seems we want textures for everything
Good point. I propose they be dealt with in alphabetical order.
Concrete Ceiling Textures
Polystyrene Panels: http://tf2maps.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=180
Those are nice. Keep them coming. If you really want to know what is needed badly, its building textures. Anything related to bricks, roofs, and windows. If you could create an actual grass texture that actually looks good in TF2 , you would be the hero of many.
since he already took care of the panels
i think that i will make some metal textures that would correspond to nuetral, red or blue bases and a road texture seems simple enough
Ill make road textures, incase your making a highway, or something!
That would be great.
Like a grid patten.
It would also be great if someone modeled some lights and air vents the same size as a the panel.
I'm okish with blender, I think I could do the airvents.
EDIT: Here's a perfect picture, it like contains everything I just said, lol
i made a red metal texture
idk how "good" persay it is
kinda inexperienced with textures and texture making
but here it is
i have two versions, one lighteer and one darker
tell me which one is better
the first 1 looks better imo, however I think that the black/grey outline maybe a little harsh, often the tf2 textures are very muted in their colour schemes. If you look at the tf2 red brick textures and compare them to say a hl2 brick texture you'll get what i mean
apart from that though keep up the good work
i did a hue saturation and came up with a blue one and nuetral one
they are available for download here
