    Description:
    The Mach bases have been relocated to a forested environment. A new game mode awaits players in this lush scenery, one without flags that Mach is known for. The level has undergone some large modifications to compensate. The middle area is now larger. Players can now get up out of the previous flag area pit easily. A spawn room has been eliminated, and the sniper deck is accessible to all from outside the base. There is more cover outside. The sky is much, much higher than in the CTF version. This is a bit different than other Arena maps, because I've opted to have a decent amount of health packs around the map. There are two small ones in the middle (one on the tower, one on the stump), one small in each sewer entrance, and a medium pack on the previous flag stands to encourage use of the bases.

    What's with these kinds of posts on this website, anyway? Isn't it supposed to be a mapping help/tutorial site? It's more like a "rant / post negative comments until you make mappers feel like shit" site at the moment.

    You may have lost all respect for me, but you don't need to make posts about it. Look at Fatony, for example. Why not just let his thread be and not insert negative/stupid comments into it? I could just not post anything here anymore, which is fine by me. I figured I'd share in case you might want to play it sometime, though. Doesn't matter either way.

    Youme idk if you have seen the screens on his site but he actually did an effort to make it an arena map and he used the new alpine theme.
    If vile didn't change anything to the map, yes I would react the same like you did.

    Looks great Vile!

    btw, how is Vile losing respect by reconfiguring his own map? Valve does it...and Vile took it one step further than Valve and updated the environment along with the layout....what's not to love?

    The alpine stuff really doesn't fit with vile's trim galore theme, it would have been much better if he'd kept the desert theme, at least the two bases half fit in in the desert.

    Edit: and don't get me started on fatony!
