Hello, I have this idea and was wonder what you all thought of it. It may be confusing but try and go with it. Its called Captive. it would be like CTF but with a twist. the flag is a trigger that opens a door slowly. if u are killed you spawn in a locked room. this room has one door. the door is opened by the flag which is opend by your team mates to let you out. the point is to kill your oppinent team and capture them all. This is a bunch of mumbo jumbo but tell me what you thought(if you understood me) Thanks
That's a very interesting idea. The one downside I can see to it, though, is that if you're one of the players currently captured, the game would be pretty boring for you.
well thats the "punishment" if u die but very good point i wonder if we could set a timer for how long they are in there
Shouldn't punish people for playing a game. Also if someone gets locked in a room, they will just suicide and respawn, no one will know that they're meant to be in there, It will just become confusing and frustrating, and everyone will leave the server. Players should Never get stuck somewhere in a map.
So, like Jailbreak? EDIT: That's right, there was a TF2 version that was worked on, but it's sitting in limbo.
Heck, players on my clan server bitch about 10 second spawn times. They would probably threaten to kill if they were locked in a room for the duration of a round. That's one of the reasons I hate CS, you die early and it sucks to wait while retards hide on both teams because they're afraid to die, so they camp and don't go find eachother. If you idea of fun is to be stuck in a room while others roam around, then good luck. Nothing personal but sounds like a terrible game idea.
