Need help Water

    Need help Water [solved]

    hey, just to say I'm a beginner mapper... anyway I finished compiling my level after adding some water to it and while running around in it I noticed if I'm pointing up or down all the other brushes but the water start acting up and start to shake if I'm running forward or backward (oddly it doesn't do it when I'm strafing)

    The water is meant to be short enough to not be able to swim in it since I like the look I gave with what i'm making

    How deep is the water?, Sometimes if it is too shallow I've seen it do that.

    Right now its 8 unit's tall which I guess would be too small... Would you know how many units it would take before one starts to swim?

    Yea I would go ahead and make it at least 16 units maybe up to 32 units. Cause I believe that character can go halfway up his body with water before the swim process starts.

    Hold up I found the REAL problem it wasnt the size of the water that was the issue... It was me launching the game from hammer after I said "thanks" I made things via hammer and launched it from hammer after compile it started doing the shakey thing again then I launched the game from the actual game list and it wasn't doing it
