Need help; bsp is not saving

    Here is my log

    I am sure its not an issue with an individual file. I believe hammer is not saving a bsp. Anyone help?

    Maybe someone can try running my map and telling me if its just my hammer or the map?

    You are running VVIS twice and VRAD once, only way I can see you having done that was messing up on setting up an expert compile. VBSP, VVIS and VRAD should run once, in that order. VBSP is the program that actually turns the VMF into the BSP, so since it's not running that's why the file cannot be found.

    Just got this but I don't appear to have the same problem. Any ideas?

    You've tied a displacement to a func_detail, use visgroups to turn off everything except func_details, find the displacement one and hit the 'toworld' button.

    Rule number 1: http://www.interlopers.net/errors/
    Rule number 2: Read your log
    Rule number 3: If still you have no idea whats going on, post about it.

    The weird thing was that I can't compile anything after I got the error with that map (and yes I have tried empty room test maps).

    I should've mentioned that =p

    ussally restarting steam works for errors that you have after fixing things.
    If that doesn't work you should try to refresh the sdk content.

    or you just didn't fix the problem ;)
