Navigation mesh question: What are these green and purple lines?

    Came across these green and purple lines scattered around maps while reading about nav meshes. Couldn't find anything about them on the Valve Developer Wiki. Can anyone help? I've noticed they're placed around the edges of maps, next to walls.

    tl;dr what are the green and purple lines for?

    Not sure, but i think they tell bots the type of corner it is where green is a sharp corner and purple is a corner that can be smootly navigated without being blocked (to cover up the need for a triangle shaped mesh and instead just tells that purple line to purple line will work fine).

    But from my experience its not realy needed to adjust those and i always just ignored them.

    Yeah, as Alias said, those are not very important. Connections and drops are the most important thing
