Moving Skybox -- THE RETURN

    so I love the idea of using a func_physbox and a phys_motor to create a spinning skybox, yet I cannot make it work. I have extensively poured over the example map Roundabout by Faux Rhinoceros, a well made map that works well on the same concept. Yet nothing I do can make my skybox spin. When I load the map the skybox jitters up and down a bit, but that stops after a while. ( I fixed the jitter by moving a brush clipping the physbox, but this did not fix the spinning) Help, suggestions? If no one knows the answer off the top of their heads I can post the .vmf

    The most notable thing i can think of that you may have overlooked is the placement of the origin of the phys_motor.

    The origin is important. The axis that the phys_motor will spin its attachments around, is defined as a straight line going straight from phys_motor entity to its origin.
