i was thinking just a second ago, can you make props move. because i was thinking of putting a crane in my map and have a shipping container hanging from it. but then i thought it might look better if the shipping container move a little"flowing in the wind". so i just thought i would post this up and see if everyone no's how to make props move. maybe something like waypoints, but im not sure.

please get back to me, Eddie

Pff, easy, make a func_train for the movement. If you don't know how it works refer to a tutorial. Than make the prop a prop_dynamic, and parent it to the train

yes, you just need to create more func_tracks and branch tracks

Would it not be better to do a phys_ballsocket so that the crate swings freely, then put a rope between the crane and the container to make it look like its is hanging. Then it would look more realistic

I Don't think physics stuff is that good in a multiplayer map.

Unless it's outside of the game area.
