model reskin

    Hello, I hope Im posting this in the right place... I came here through a link I ran across while trying to find a tut on doing a model reskin. What Im trying to do, is change the symbols on the front of the resupply lockers. Is this possible? What would I need? Thanks in advance for any info you guys can provide.

    Im assuming I will have to clone the model and rename it or something if i want this to show up in my map?

    In that case, recompiling the model with a new name and the custom skin will be the way to go. Don't forget to pack the custom content when you want to share your map.

    Wait, this will be harder than I thought.

    You have to decompile the model. And then to recompile it with the right texture name.

    I currently have much time to describe it, I'm sorry.
