Merc Muffler (RED) - Attempt to knit a scarf in a weekend.
I attempted to marathon knit this pattern -http://hunterv.tumblr.com/post/74627479681/schweinkrams-here-is-my-mercs-muffler-and - with my own adjustments.
I originally wanted to make it double knitted instead of ribbed but found out way too late that was an unrealistic goal (It makes each row take twice as long to knit). I ripped the whole thing out 2/3s of the way into the Jam and made it ribbed instead. It's not as long as the pattern called for but it is a functional scarf made in less than 10 hours. Maybe for the next Jam I'll knit a BLU version and race to make it full length in 72 hours.
