My name is Ash, and I am the Sr. Admin of the Powder Keg Gaming Union WWW.PKG-UNION.ORG.

We currently have 3 Servers, one of which is a custom map server. We would like an experienced TF2 map modder to contact us, and give us $$$ Estimates $$$ for modding a few of the current maps we are playing.

My apologies to the moderator of this forum, if this post is either unethical or in the wrong place.

You can contact me via email at PKG-Union@comcast.net

    Thanks
    Ash

He wants to pay someone to modify maps he likes playing. Decompiling someone elses map and modding it without any permission from the creator is quite unethical, yes.

If you're willing to pay cash to have some modifications done to custom maps, just contact the original authors and they may well help you. If not you do really need their permission first before getting someone else to do it for you. If it's valve's maps that you want tweaking, I guess you should still write to valve and ask for permission. I'm sure they'd say yes.

If you have cash, find the original author(s), or even contract someone to make a map from scratch.
