For some reason when I load up my map, its in full bright, here's my compile thing: (finally figured out what you all meant)

Yeah I had that error, and it seemed to fix itself after one of the patches a couple days ago. I know that's no help here but I did report it to Valve so hopefully they will try fix it, if they haven't already.
EDIT: I validated my files again and it broke again.
