Hello there! So, let me cut to the chase. I was wondering if someone could help me edit a map. I have no experience whatsoever so I was hoping someone could do it for me. Of course, all credit will go to the developer. So, I was thinking about taking a portal and the area it leads to from one map and adding it into a completely different map. The sandbox would need to edited to be larger as well. Would anyone be interested? Send me a PM or add me as a friend on Steam if you want more information! http://steamcommunity.com/id/doomer327

Would you please elaborate on exactly you want to be done/edited?

    Payment would be nice, too.

So this one map has a portal that leads to another area. I was thinking of getting rid of that portal and the area it leads to. Then, get two portals from a completely different map and put them into the first map, along with the areas they lead to. The sandbox would need to be made bigger as well.

As for payment, I'm not too sure on how to pay you. I can figure something out.

The mapping request still doesn't make any sense.

There are 2 existing custom TF2 maps, both with portals. You want half of each map, combined into 1 map. The two halves are connected by a portal.

    Is that right?

If so, mappers are unlikely to steal the work of other mappers. Also, it is probably more work than you realise, so it won't be cheap.

it would be better to just make a map from scratch

well ... combining 2 maps is pretty easy if your standards for optimization and compile times are low enough
