Making those signs that point to the next control point?

    Keep in mind I just started using SDK yesterday, no experience before then, so try keeping it simple if you can.

    How do I make the light up signs that point to where the next control point you need to go to is, depending on which control points you already have? I got as far as making a prop_dynamic entity and giving it the sign model, but I don't know if that's even what I was supposed to do or not.

    Yeah, sounds good. I think you can get away with a prop_static (correct me if I'm wrong)

    You then either go into the model browser and goto the "skin" tab, and choose what sign you want... or just type the number in the main property dialog (The model browser is easier as you can see the different skins)

    You may obviously need to rotate the sign to face the right direction

    That's exactly it, Fyfey.

    And keep in mind that as you get slightly more advanced, you can enable or disable these signs through events, so that they only appear when applicable. For instance, in a map like TC_Hydro, you only want certain signs up at certain times.
