make sky box not show brushes benind it

    how do you/how would you make sky box not show brushes benind it

    im trying to make an hall way but behind the skybox and the end part is sky box so its harder for ppl to spot

    Make a nodraw brush, and then the skybox

    sorry you see all that hall way that's behind the sky box i don't wanna see it when its behind the sky box

    So that grey thing is the skybox? I thought it was some kind of concrete texture.

    Try putting a NODRAW brush between the skybox and the other thing behind it

    Nodraw brushes blocks VIS, so it should work if you do it well

    It doesn't make sense to not see areas like that behind a sky. You could just make buildings there.

    Have you tried compiling it with vis? If you can optimise it so it isn't rendering the inside of the building then you won't see it.

    you should check if you dont have a leak in your skybox, even one unit and the game starts draving thing behind the skybox
    afaik the engine will draw it when it is part of a brush on your side of the skybox

    I think what he means is for the corridor te be invisible behind the sky, as if its not there?
