Make my map look natural?

    Right now I have a ramp of sand that goes up to somewhere, but it looks like it might as well be made out of concrete. How do I make my sand ramp look natural? This is my first time making a real map and I'd really appreciate the help!

    @Werewolf [UK] I don't want to spam new threads (this is my second one in the last 24 hours), but my compile log tells me I have a leak, but there is no pointfile and the compile log doesn't tell me the coordinates of the leak? Do you know what this could be?

    Putting the compile log through Interlopers.net/errors says that there is a leak but does not give coordinates and Hammer does not generate a pointfile

    probably means your sand ramp was sealing the level when it was still a world brush (displacements don't seal) try create a nodraw brush beneath the dispacement, sealing the hole

    also use load default pointfile to make hammer trace a red line through the leak

    @MaccyF there is already a nodraw underneath all displacements. Load default pointfile asks me to browse for a file

    @MaccyF It appears relaunching Hammer has fixed the issue.
