Hi - just got blender - it's warping my mind - for the moment If anyone's interested. I'm looking for 3 payload models for my moonbase / space themed map 1 red / 1 blue (both can be the same stlye) 1 final payload - this is what I was working on but propper doesn't seem to be working anymore or else I would do it myself Here's what I was thinking for the last model - this model should have a hole in the center large enough to drop a combine powerball through it.
Or - If someone can make me a blender file that consists of 1 block that's the size of a payload model - I can start there It would give me the scale that I need to make a model, that once completed, would make an easy export right into TF2 because I already would have the scale correct
If you're looking for scale, you can make a brush in hammer that's however big, export the file as .fbx, then import that into blender
It's an option under File, called Export to .DXF (I was wrong the first time, it's .dxf not .fbx); when a window pops up just name it whatever.
ok finally go a chance to look at this - although the export to dxf is there I can't seem to import it into blender
Ok - still have no idea what I'm doing can someone make me up payload models? 1 & 2 Pretty much standard. Cart 3 has to be big enough to hold the anti-matter ball with no floor so the ball can drop through it. See the map for what I mean. http://forums.tf2maps.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=6157 You'll also get full credit in the map details
When your modelling in Blender one blender unit is equal to one hammer unit by default, there's no scale conversion needed so long as you set the end cull distance higher
