Lost in arena

so, i'm new to mapping, finished a crap koth map, and i want to move on to arena. BUT i cannot for the life of me find a reliable tutorial for a beginner like myself. I've got my tf_logic_arena configured, problem is that 1) the cp doesn't activate, and 2) players were respawning. halp?

Then just copy the Arena entities from the Gametype Library over to your map.

solved, ended up just checking out a decompiled valve map
