    Hi people,
    My name is Fabian and I have created so far another version of the famous CS Little Italy map, this time for Team Fortress 2 and just for u guys!!
    I hope you like it :blush:!!
    PD - I'm sorry about the crappy screenshot but I got it from Hammer Editor, I promise to upload some better pics latter.

    Look, when it comes to textures, TF2 has a very specific art style. Good maps are expected to use TF2 textures (or, if you don't want to start adding details yet, you can use developer textures - search for "dev" in the browser - that look like red, blue and gray grids) and TF2 models, which is why we're asking you to do that. To find TF2 textures, use the keyword "tf" in the texture browser.

    Anyway, good luck with your map!

    They're included with Hammer since the Sniper/Spy update (Hoodoo). :)

    OK guys, I'll try to work on it to exchange my current textures for only TF2 textures!!
    Just give me some time please.
    Anyway, whats wrong with the textures I currently have on my map?

    its TF2,so you must use TF2 textures.

    TF2 characters and textures have a very distinct painterly style - the art direction for the game was based off of the works of Norman Rockwell and this guy whose name I forget. As a result, HL2, CS:S, and other 'real' textures stick out like sore thumbs in TF2 or, if you use a ton of them, the players and models look cartoonishly out of place.

    It's not mandatory by any sense, but using only TF2 or TF2-styled custom textures and models really helps your map feel cohesive aesthetically.

    Ok guys, I finished the textures changes already, I just need to compile it and test it on my game tonight, so I can promise you that the Map will be ready this evening for sure.
