Little Idea - cp_ctf_map

    Hi there,

    the most comptetive Players complain about those small and little CTF Maps, so here is my little Idea.

    A ctf Map with one Control Point. If one team owns the Control Point, they can spawn in a forward Spawnroom. There is no need to Cap the cp, but this would make the whole map a lot more interesting.

    I don´t know if such a thing would actually work, but this idea was in my head :)

    Its been done but with 2 problems. 1. It makes the gameplay kinda overly complex. 2. It still does not fix the sentry farm problems.

    Hm...and when you change the complete way Ctf maps work?

    Example: Not 2 Intelligence, there is only one! This one is at the middle Point (the point, that one team have to cap). So, if one team is the owner of this Cap point, there is a bigger chance to cap those int faster.

    Sentry Farm is, imho, only a Public Server problem. I'm talking about Competetive ;)
    But on publics, sentrys aren´t a real problem if you´r doing it right ;)
    If the point is on an a little Hill/cliff, then it is allways easy to kill all Sentrys, get the Point and the Flag. Imho!

    Splitting a single objective in 2 for a team of 6 players also seems nonsensical.

    what would be better is both bases have huge blast doors and whoever owns the cp closes their blast doors and opens the other teams. making the flag very difficult to guard.
    you would want the CP to have a short cap time though.
