What is better, light_spot or light_dynamic for a bunker?

I have one that#s purple for emergency lights, white for normal.

In TF2, you don't really have any reason to ever use light_dynamic.

Light_spot. Light_dynamic is simulated in real time and should only be used in very specific situatuions, and pretty much not at all in Team Fortress 2.

Ya really shouldn't be asking others to figure out minor details you could probably do yourself.

For general lighting theory check out this awesome guide by Tyler we still miss you man :' (

as others have pointed out, we really can't help in a specific instance without any knowledge. Post what you've tried and we'd be happy to critique though :)

    Here's the screen shot

As you can see, the "emergency lighting" is not "Enlighting" the breaker box properly so players can see it.

Point_spotlights don't cast light, they just create that "cone" effect. You want a light_spot or light.

Combine both for a true spotlight effect, though ;)

    Use a light_spot if it's a spotlight.

Don't give them a targetname unless you intend to turn them on/off.

I intend to turn them on and off.

The light I'm trying to fix is an emergency light that goes off when the main power is restored to the map by resetting the breakers.
