    This is a thread for showing off all the amazing things you've built for absolutely no reason. So what do you guys do when you get bored or sidetracked in hammer?

    O_O Ravidge. At least in the third inside pic, if you cant see the entire image at same time and then scroll up it looks like youd rotate it in 3D... or then my brain is just fecked

    It does! That's cool, I just spent 5 minutes scrolling my mousewheel up and down :)

    O_O I cant understand how you can be assed to create stuff like this when I start to rage already when rotating stuff as the camera goes to weird places and I cant see anything at all and so on >:I

    I assume An Icy Mouse and Ravidge just wrote a program to do that

    Just printing out the vmf in text format, and using variables for how much rotation on each axis, and radius from the point (0,0,0)

    Nice idea though

    you're way off pitto, I'll say to you what boojum said to westerhound:

    explore Hammer's built in functions.

    took me maybe 15 minutes to make that coliseum (includign compile and screenshot time)

    Hey there i'm kinda new here - just testing the water ;)

    A good way to get to know Hammer better is fiddle with these options in those lost minutes of a day. You know? Between dinner and coffee? After you brushed your teeth? "Oooh I think i'll go and rotate a prop_static 600 times" ;)

    Awesome stuff - this whole thread gives a reason to dabble with Hammer!
