Koth_Topside - Two tall buildings connected by a bridge, fight to control the high ground!

Topside is a compact King Of The Hill map set at the top of two tall buildings.

RED and BLU each Spawn in the downstairs of their own building, and must proceed to the top floor by means of the nearby Main Staircase or the further Flank Staircase.

From the Roof, players will naturally meet in the middle- the Bridge on which the point stands.

Above this, the Upper Roof connects each building to each other with planks, allowing access to a risky high-ground near the point.

A2 Update!

A2 sees several changes to the initial design;

-SPAWNS
Spawn rooms have been moved from the counter-clockwise side of the buildings to the center, still on the lower floor, to make accessing both routes quicker and easier

-FLANKS
Flank rooms have been shrunk significantly with the addition of impassable glass walls to add detail and deal with overscaling

-GARDENS
The gardens now each have a small garage building to take cover within

-ROOFTOPS
The rooftop battlements are now larger and...

A2a update is a re-render of A2, as the initial one erroneously had props hidden.

Door fix update

-SPAWNS
Spawn room doors have been fixed by having their delay before reset set to 0. More signage added.

-FLANKS
More ignage added,

-GARDENS
Health and Ammo kits are now inside the garage

-STAIRS
More SIgnage added, walls opened up more

-ROOFTOPS
More signage added, ramp added from vent device area

-POINT
Walls added to stop soldiers jumping straight to spawn

A4- The downstairs reshuffle

-SPAWNS
New Spawn rooms have been added.

-FLANKS
Large chunk of space between flank and stairs has been filled in with an inaccessible decorative room

-GARDENS
Some fences have been made taller to restrict the flow of jumping classes

-STAIRS
Opened up much further and decorated with new windows and walls

-ROOFTOPS
Arched entrances added to verticals as well as horizontals in the appropriate hallway

-POINT
Decals added to demonstrate point size, boxes next to bridge opened up into rooms...

The Respawn Update!

Most changes this patch are to the downstairs spawn courtyard;

-A large chunk removed from the floor
-The two outhouses outright deleted and replaced with a path to the upstairs area
-Spawns have been moved into the stairwells
-Left-hand flanks have been blocked off entirely
-Right-hand flanks now have a path to the point, albeit a long one which is easy to throw grenades down

New Spawn update!

-Spawns have been moved from their temporary homes in the main stairwell to the rear of the map-halves; players now leave spawn facing the point to make navigation less confusing.

-The Courtyards directly next to spawn have been updated into full-blown buildings in order to provide a new high-ground and limit the effectiveness of snipers in the vantage point by the water-towers

-A new entrance to the main stairwell has been added next to the new spawns

-Moving doors have been removed from...

A9- the corridor update

The A9 update feels to me like the map taking on what may come to be something resembling its final layout- I think the Topside's main weakness right now is that the routes to point take a while to cycle between but I think this might be what the map is at this stage; because otherwise, I'm very happy with the layout as it currently is.

Changes are as follows;
-A new hallway between the Stairwells, with doors sectioning it off into two chunks. A third exit points towards the point
