    We playtested your map on our server recently. You can download the demo file here, and can see the feedback here. The best way to use this is to watch through the demo - look where people go and don't go, what classes they play and don't play, and where most people die. Make sure to pay attention to the ingame text and voice chat. On the feedback site, if you Claim your map, you can download the feedback as a vmf, which you can then copy into your map vmf to have all the feedback in the right place.

    Removed tunnel from spawn to mid
    Changed/added ammo and health locations
    Added giant "arch" to middle
    Moved upper drop-down
    Ship moved forward slightly
    Removed ramp into building near one way doors

    In terms of the 72hr Jam I'm done with this map, I actually want to completely remake it and I won't have time with less than 24 hours left, and I want to help test other maps.

    I'll pick it back up after.

    Completely rebrushed the map, quite a bit different.
    • Mid is a bit thinner
    • Lowered exit only door
    • Reduced sightlines
    • Removed any kind of optimization (A+ effort)
    • Removed two medium medkits
    • Redesigned spawn rooms
    • Removed ladder by request :engienope:
    • Outlined capture zone

    @Hotel Detective Please don't update your map before the showcase is made! The organizers want to display what was made during the 72 hours of the event. If you want a chance to be in the showcase, please upload the version you made during the time limit.

    I haven't mapped much since this, and I won't be working on this map again so here's my archive of VMFs for koth_remnant

    I believe a2a was my 72hr release, and a3 changed most of mid but I never playtested it I don't think.
    I don't care much for these anymore, consider them public domain
    a3a I think only changes the outside spawn decks to solid cubes and nothing else. Never compiled this version
