Is there any way to turn off the yellow box that surronds entities?

So you know how when you have an entity in your level, from a further distance it appears as just a yellow box, well can you turn this off? Because when I am trying to properly align one of my prop models this makes rather difficult to precisely see if it is the correct position/place.

Yes, you increase the draw distance in hammer by going:

Tools>Options>3D Views, then adjusting the slider to a higher value. (Max it out, it doesn't really matter)

I found that if I raised the distance too far, although it was useful, when I textured faces it increased the time significantly for the texture to appear on the face. I'd click on three or four faces that I wanted to apply the texture to and would then have to wait about five seconds for it to show.

Then put it a bit lower again? Always depends on the power of your pc and the size of your map how high you can set it.
