Is there a way I could get an invisible water texture? It's going to be a func_water_analog, and I tried texturing the whole thing in nodraw but it didn't work. Is there a way to do this?
I tried what you said and it didn't work, but then I tried editing the water_movingplane texture to give it the properties of toolsinvisible, and that worked. But you put me on the right track, so thanks anyway!
