The title says it all, really.
I've had years of experience in Hammer, mostly playing around with maps for Garry's mod gamemodes (namely roleplay and TTT), although I'm branching into TF2 now. I much prefer TF2's artistic style and render processes, so I'm here to stay!
On a more general level, I've been modding for since I was 10 (obviously I didn't do anything good for some years - most of it was messing around in the Morrowind and Oblivion construction sets, making new houses and spells). I'm 19 now, so you can imagine that modding and mapping is something I do recreationally. I'm just keen on level and graphic design.
I'm at university in my second year of undergrad Psychology. It's pretty interesting. I guess my ideal trajectory would be to graduate with a first, do a postgrad in advertising, move to New York and do advertising until my head caves in.
I've been part of a gaming communities for the last 4 or so years, but I rarely come across anyone who can map well. It'd be cool to meet like-minded people here, who understand what particle names to put into a env_particlesystem; or which trigger entity to use for whatever. I'd like to get to know more mappers (I'm open to colabs), so...
Here's my Steam ID.
Add me maybe?
