    Too bad it didn’t make it to the 72hr, but it looks like it was worth the wait with the layout, because it looks really well balanced!

    mid is chaotic. players seem unsure about what the "main" route is, and the spawn location helps reinforce this. the lower route has a fun dynamic to it, but its difficult to actually push in with it. the lower route isn't that great. im looking at how i can sort of rein this in a bit - bring the high route closer to mid rather than going "past" it and making the lower route more protected and useful. it'll just make the map more like badlands/reckoner, but those maps play well.

    final point is difficult to approach. the layout is kind of confused in which direction it wants to flow. i wanted to structure it like blands/gullywash where its sort of shaped like an S, but the lower route is simply too useful for it to really work like that. and as a result, spawn is simply in the wrong location. if the defending team has people who know how to rocket jump, they can dominate the whole area with ease, and its because of the spawn exit that's too close to the inside of the map.

    phi told me to make it 5cp like 4 different times. i dont really want to give up on 3cp so easily but now that ive seen it in action on my own layout, im not really sure what to do about the stalemate/steamroll issue. she's also suggested keeping the final point as final and inserting a new 2nd point into the middle, which isn't what i would have done but i may do it anyways because she'd know better than i would. all sort of up in the air at the moment.

    EDIT: im not sure im continuing this map at all. i just kinda wanted to finish what i started for the jam, and on further reflection im not sure i want to commit to a full 5cp map when i'd rather be working on snowbase. might reuse the final point in something else cause i like it and other ppl do too

    imo last could do do as a 2nd cap for 5cp or a last for multistage a/d
