Hello, I'm a relatively new mapper. I tried making L4D2 maps way back when, but I didn't know what I was doing so it didn't turn out well. Now I'm trying to get back into TF2 and mapping - my computer stopped being able to run it in July 2011, so that's when I stopped.
I've watched several tutorials on YouTube including the great series by UEAKCrash. I was already working on a KOTH map that turned into a 5cp map when I saw Pont post on Twitter about the Rule of Threes contest and so I decided to create a map for it - a 3cp map called cp_pyroclast which I'll probably upload soon. I really hope I packed it right. It probably won't be done for the Minor contest and it also likely isn't any good, but I guess I have to start somewhere and learn from mistakes.
