I was wondering if there was a way to pose a player model as a custom prop?
I'm making a zf map and as I'm a bit nearer to finishing, I was hoping to add some nice features and what not. Basically I wanted to pose a soldier (with Bill's hat) like so:

Could someone take this on for me, because I have no idea. I know I could maybe use a prop ragdoll, but I can't see how I would get it to go in the right position.

Thanks to anyone who decides to have a go

EDIT: Preferably clutching a shotgun although if it was just posed to be able to that'd be swell

well, all I know is that you create a phys_ragdoll, give it the soldier model, name it, lets say "Solly" and then you create a phys_ballsocket. This is an entity to which the ragdoll can be tied so that the ragdoll wont lie on the ground, but stand there. You double click on the phys_ballsocket and in the "Entity 1" field you write "Solly". That should work.

Then you just take the hat model as prop_static and put it on his head.

Probably the best way to do it, but it works

Hmm, I dunno. It'd be good cos it wouldnt need a custom model, but it'd still be hard to position the exact pose as well as the gun ( I think prop ragdoll just shows in sdk as standing up, arms outstretched anyway.)
