How to pack custom models and textures into a map?

I've heard about Pakrat which can pack your map but is there any other way to do so? If there are multiple ways, then which way do you think is the best one to use?

compilepal works good too. I use that.

Compilepal packs a map automatically while compiling, and its autosearch feature searches through all your paths, which a lot of others don't. Not to mention it offers tons of other useful compiling features like automatic cubemaps!
