I was wondering how i would add a picture of my map (what is to the left of the map name in the servers list). I cant figure out how to do it. I see mostly stock maps have it, but im sure its possible. Can someone help me? Thanks

ok so I have my own server and fast download, can i make it so other clients see it if i put the vmt and vtf in the vgui/maps folder and the res in the maps folder? I can see it but someone connecting to it could only see a tf2 logo with a down arrow after downloading the map.

I believe that you need to make them download it by creating the .res file as it says on that page. You may need to force them to download it like any other custom material (ie, when you download sound files or whatever).

well. if it was your first time on the server, then you probaly wouldn't see it unless you downloaded the map first. But, i put everything where it needed to go and it still doesnt work. i put the vtf and vmt in the vgui/maps folder and the res file in the tf/maps folder that is all on the server. should i do something in the cfg like sv_upload or sv_download, sv_consistency or something else?
