How do i decide which side is a triangle in a wedge?

yeah, i want to make an incline but wedges have the wrong side pointed. how do i change this?

Ctr+M and rotate it to the direction you want.

Ctr+M is your best friend in Hammer

nono. CRTL+V is your best friend =) CRTL+M is a close second though =p

You can also rotate brushes in 2D views by using the mouse. There is a setting in the options menu to snap rotations to 15 degree increments.
