    This is an arena map that I made today. It's pretty open (maybe too open?) outside, but has tight battles inside, with significant advantages of being the first to the point. There is an abundance of health, but I think the initial fight, being in close quarters, should take a lot of health, and the other kits are spread out enough that getting one would almost definitely result in you being seen by enemies. There's also an attic-type thing above the point, from which people can shoot down onto the point. (one of the main advantages of getting the the point early)

    please, tell me what you think and ways it could be improved. You can be as brutal as you want about the layout or other things, but please don't just say that you hate it, or that it's terrible without some suggestions on how to improve it. (and no, telling me to start again from scratch doesn't help, because i won't know what's wrong). This is more of a map to improve my mapping skills than to be a great map, so any suggestions, improvements, or just comments in general are welcome

    Looking through the pics, I have to agree with the above. Your inside looks like its scaled fine, but the outside is nothing but big, open sightlines. You're going to have problems with not only snipers, but wrangler engies camping up on those ledges overlooking the buildings.

    I ran around with the bots, and your missing a few key things.

    -Doors on the Spawn
    -Cover going to the point
    -The point is rather closed off, I blame the logs
    -The area above the point is interesting and OP IMO.
    -The Buildings to the right of each spawn are a sentry nest

    Anywho, keep working on it, Rename it to something else (somwthing to do with holes (bombshell??))

    -I don't think the spawns are supposed to have doors in arena maps
    -yeah, those sightlines do seem really long now that i look at it more. i'll probably add more height variation to break sightlines and make it more interesting
    -ok, i'll try removing the logs. They did seem to make it rather hectic when i played with bots
    -if i lower the roof (to make people more susceptible to splash damage) and add cover to the stairs up to that area (to make it easier to get up there if someone's already there), would that balance it enough?
    -ok, i'll make it a small ammo pack.
