Wanted to know if there was any way to hide certain items or kinds of items in hammer to make the workspace less dense/easier to work with. I know that similar functionalities exist in other engines so I thought there might be something like that in hammer. Is there?

Visgroups: uncheck the boxes of the things you don't want to see, and you can do that here: (the thing in yellow)

EDIT: or you can use the cordon tool.

The thing in yellow in this screenshot. the one with the red dots is to place it/change the size etc. Everything out of the red 'cordon-box' is not shown in hammer and when you compile you'll only see the things inside the box.

Sooooo much easier to maneuver. Thanks a bunch.

Oh hey one more thing. I sometimes loose the ability to resize brushes in the 3D view. I've regained that ability just as accidentally a couple of times but I'd like to know what I'm doing and how. Is there a command that I'm inadvertently using that is causing this to happen?
