    Hi!

About time I introduced myself here :D

My forum name here is Munchkin, ingame I use the name Doelwit.
Love playing tf2, css and l4d, very interested in graphics and music.
Spend my spare time co-running a community called lethal-zone.eu.

Been lurking around here for some time, mainly to check out new maps for our TF2 community and to wade through all the tutorials for my own sorry mapping attempts ;)
First result is a ctf_bball2 adaption called lz_bball.
Mainly build for lethal-zone to do something different from the standard bball map.

We are going to start having custom-maps only on every monday from 3 august on actually. Maybe i need to post that somewhere else here.
Feel free to contact me if you want you're map included in the cycle if we haven't added it yet ;)

    Well that's about it :D

Hi and welcome to TF2Maps.net Munchkin! :D We have having a contest right now and would your clan mind if we ask then if they could test some PLR and A/D CTF maps?

If you have any screen shots of your current or previous mapping endeavorers we would love to see them.

To get the best TF2Maps.net experience possible feel free to donate.

With your donation you will not only be able to remove all ads but get a larger avatar with bigger signature size allowance with images, full text search, an increased 500 PM inbox size, a nifty 'TF2Maps.net Supporter' image tag, the Ability to view other members profile and to top it all off full blog/gallery capabilities

If you need any help with a problem that you think you could fix on your own, you should read through the TF2 wiki and our own rather impressive [ame=http://forums.tf2maps.net/forumdisplay.php?f=12]Tutorial section.[/ame]

If you need help with Entities [ame=http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=6126]download this.[/ame] However, you need to [ame=http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=6197]download this[/ame] so the Entities will work right. Now if you need help with things like doors [ame=http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=8036]download this.[/ame] Lastly if you have a hate for the model browser [ame=http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=4674]download this.[/ame]

After you are done with your project you can upload it here or you can use a very useful program that a lot of other mappers use called Dropbox.

After it is uploaded you can [ame=http://forums.tf2maps.net/forumdisplay.php?f=44]make a thread for it here.[/ame]

Don't worry about making it pretty just yet. However, feel free to sign up for [ame=http://forums.tf2maps.net/forumdisplay.php?f=35]gameday for some good testing.[/ame] Gamedays are on Fridays in the euro server and Saturday/Sunday in the U.S. server.

If you have any other questions, there is usually someone in Steam chat who can help. Welcome to the group!

    Lastly don't forget!
    Does it help?
    Do you agree?
    Make you laugh?

    Sure!
We're now having a weekly customs night on mondays and would be very happy to playtest ctf and plr maps for the contest :D
One of our motivations to have this weekly customs evening is to promote new customs ( regardless if they are finished, in alpha or in beta stage) so we can add them to our mapcycles on several of our servers.

Most players don't want to sit out a 50 MB + download when they want to play unfortunately, since it takes them too long, even with the fastdownload we have.

So this is our way to familiarize them with good customs and get those map played :D
