Help with editing bird positions and/or recompiling valve maps

    So i've been trying to use the new birds to make a new header image for the TF2 Emporium thread over at Facepunch using the new birds added to the maps by editing the birds.txt file. Using hammer I placed enough birds as props_statics on decompiled cp_degrootkeep to make this:

    then used the prop_static coordinates to modify the coordinates for the original birds in cp_degrootkeep as well as adding loads more but nearly all of them disappear, here what just the first line "TF2" looks like ingame:

    also this error comes up: "KeyValues Error: RecursiveLoadFromBuffer: got EOF instead of keyname in file scripts/birds.txt

    I've tried recompiling the with the bird in as prop_statics it but there are dark patches all over the ground

    Any body got an ideas what I could do to achieve my idea?

    mm I think they need to be prop_dynamics to begin with

    if you want to do this in game, you could bind ent_create entity_bird to a key and just type it out... i guess

    i can't help much more than this
