Help - blue scren of death duirng compile!

AHHHHH!!!

Started compile - got the blue screen of death.

Reloaded map file - there's nothing there - nothing in visgroups panel either

Can't seem to open vmx file directly from hammer. can't seem to open vmx from PC files directly to see if I can do a new file save as.

I'm running Win 7 and using hammer via hammer.bat

Have I lost my map or is there still a way to save it?

edit: Tried to open in notepad and resave somewhere else as vmf file - loading into hamer got out of memery error on solid follwed by antother erroe window - map_name.vmf, line 71950: error 7

THANK GOD FOR AUTOSAVE!!!!

I found an autosave version that fortunately for me got saved 30 secs before the crash!

I really wish windows 7 would show you all file types without having to dig through your entire PC.
