Hi, my name is dragonflame. I am a new member here and stuffs. I have made 1 super crappy map (named crappymappy) which wasn't released or anything. (it was a box with a barrel and a spawnpoint). I am currently starting to work on my fisrt "real" map. Which will be a map based on the invasion of normandy kinda. It will be a beach attack-defend map and you will need to capture 2 points before going onto the last. I am currently just drawing up the plans for it and havent started the real mapping yet.

Yay newbies, lol. For what it's worth, my very first map in DM was a room w/ all skybox on the walls, a barrel, a fence, and a pistol. Hammer is fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it, there's just a lot of stuff to learn. Anything that doesn't involve a farm, rocks, or an industry thing, has my automatic approval
