My name's notking, I've been a TF2 player since late 2013 and I've grown fascinated over mapmaking. I already made one alpha-level king of the hill map 3 years back in high school as user notkingas, I called it Crossings! As my passion for level design got reignited recently by Arrayseven's and Crash's videos, I decided to improve my design skills: koth_crossings is a complex, spaghetti-brush mess 
My second project is far simpler! I want to make something fun for the remaining TF2 players.
As for my life right now, I live in Finland and I'm in my 2nd year of university studying physics. Being a poor student, I play games on a CRT! It's been great fun watching TF2 and modern games run on miniscule resolutions, while I get a FPS boost and save a lot of money on monitors. (Not to mention how curious it is as a physics student to use a literal electron gun to play games!)
