Hey, my name is Telephis (real name Nik) and I'm an active member over at gaming site extraordinaire Destructoid for those familiar with it. Games are my passion, so it's about time I started making them! I have a programming background and future (student here) but I'm not an artist at all, but have plenty of creativity. The result - I love mapping but am no good at texturing (yet!). I hope to improve my skills and looking forward to joining this community, which I have lurked for a year or two while making my first couple of maps!

I'm not super artistic either, but I've found mapping to be a fantastic way to release your creativity, so you should be fine.
